Area Hotels

The Graduate Storrs is located right on the UConn-Storrs campus.  There are several other hotels and historic bed & breakfasts in the local Mansfield area.  A bit further away (but still within a 30 minute drive to campus) are the towns of Vernon and Manchester, both of which are home to numerous hotels.  Downtown Hartford is just over 30 minutes away and a great option to consider as well.

Directions to Campus

Local Travelers

• From the West – Interstate 84 East to Exit 68. From exit, take a right onto Route 195, and follow for 7 miles to campus.

• Alternate directions from the West – Interstate 84 East to Interstate 384 East. At end of Interstate 384 East, take left fork to Route 44 East. Follow Route 44 East to intersection with Route 195. Take a right onto Route 195 and follow for a mile to campus.

• From the East – Interstate 84 West to Exit 68. From exit, take a left onto Route 195, and follow for 7 miles to campus.

• From the Southeast – Interstate 95 to 395 North. Take Exit 81 West to Route 32 North. Follow Route 32 North to Willimantic. In town, turn right and go over bridge. Continue straight through the light and follow 195 North for 8 miles to campus.

Non-Local Travelers

The closest international airport is Bradley International in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, which is about 50 minutes away from campus. From the airport, follow signs for Interstate 91 South, and then take the exit for Interstate 84 East in Hartford, and use the directions above to the campus.

For those arriving at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, head into Connecticut on Interstate 95 North, and take the exit for Interstate 91 North in the New Haven area. In Hartford, take the exit for Interstate 84 East, and follow the directions above to Storrs.

Parking on Campus

Surface lot parking is available for no charge on the Storrs campus from 5:00pm Friday until 7:00am Monday.

If you need to park on-campus before or after this period, please use either the North or South Parking Garages. Information about garage parking rates can be found on the Parking Services website.

Check-In Procedure

Upon your arrival to Family Weekend, stop by Family Weekend Check-In, located in the Student Union. There will be signage across campus pointing towards Check-In. When you visit Family Weekend Check-In, your family will receive information about the events planned, a campus map, a coupon to the UConn Bookstore, and more!
