Registration for Family Weekend 2024 will open on Monday, July 1st at 10 am!
If you plan to attend Family Weekend 2024, please register by clicking the ‘Register Now’ button below. Registering for Family Weekend is FREE! Despite being free, families are strongly encouraged to register in advance. The online registration process for Family Weekend will close on Friday, August 30th at 5:00 pm.
There are two Specialty Meals, with a per person cost, offered by UConn Catering; a BBQ on Saturday afternoon and a Brunch on Sunday morning. There are also two Signature Events with a per person cost, for your family’s consideration (event details and links below). The Specialty Meals and the Signature Events are all optional. As of July 7th, the BBQ on Saturday afternoon has sold out! As of July 14th, the Brunch on Sunday morning has sold out!
To cancel your registration for Family Weekend or request a refund for any of the Specialty Meals, please contact the Student Activities – Major Events & Programs Office at programs@uconn.edu (preferred) or 860-486-8151. After Friday, August 30th at 5:00 pm, refunds will not be issued for the Specialty Meals. Any questions about the Signature Events should be directed to the sponsor of the events, whose contact information is listed below.

Celebrate Your UConn Family: Annual Legacy Breakfast

Does your family bleed blue? If you’re an alumni parent, grandparent, and/or sibling with a current student attending UConn, we consider your family a UConn legacy family. You’re invited to celebrate your legacy together at our annual Family Weekend breakfast and pinning ceremony. Registration will open on July 1st and is required to attend. Questions? To make a purchase, enter the Promo Code found on the Family Weekend postcard, which are in the process of being mailed to the home addresses of current UConn students. Writer, performer, and author Colin Jost is best known for his work on the long-running comedy show, Saturday Night Live. Over his nearly two decades writing for SNL, and as current longtime co-anchor of the popular segment Weekend Update, Jost has won five Writers Guild Awards, two Peabody Awards and has been nominated for 14 Emmy Awards. A graduate of Harvard University, Jost has been published multiple times in The New Yorker. His memoir, A Very Punchable Face, is a New York Times bestseller and has received copious critical acclaim. He most recently headlined the 2024 White House Correspondents Dinner. Questions?
