William Benton Museum of Art

The William Benton Museum of Art is Connecticut’s state art museum with a collection of more than 6,500 works dating from the 15th to the 21st centuries. The museum annually presents 10-12 exhibitions of art from its collection and from loaned works. Check out UConn's collection of campus art and sculptures through the Benton's self-guided walking scavenger hunt.

Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry

The Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry is one of America’s hidden treasures—a superb collection of over 3,500 puppets from all over the world; an archive of books, manuscripts, posters, drawings, audio-visual materials and photographs all covering the history of puppetry. Stop by and see all of our treasures!

Future Nurses for DEI Art Exhibition

Time: 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Location: Student Union Room 310

Future Nurses for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (FNDEI) is collaborating with local artists to celebrate the Women's Center and PRLACC's 50th anniversaries.  This art exhibition is a fundraiser.  All proceeds will be allocated to scholarships for minority nursing students.

Voices of Concinnity

Come experience Voices of Concinnity for a concert of exquisitely crafted choral sound that spans the spectrum of emotions.  Concinnity performs iconic and new choral works that bring chills, thrills, and tears, leaving the audience moved, inspired... changed.  Tickets are $15 (students free). Fall Puppetry Slam

The UConn Fall Puppet Slam will feature short works by professional puppeteers and performers from around New England, including Cabot Parsons and Anatar Marmol-Gagné, as well as new works by UConn Puppet Arts students. Recommended for mature audiences. Doors open at 7 pm, seating is first, come first served. 

Dramatic Arts Sophomore BFA Performance - Failure: A Love Story

Join the Department of Dramatic Arts Sophomore BFA Acting class for a free performance of Failure: A Love Story by Philip Dawkins, directed by Sandi Carroll.

Failure: A Love Story: a comedy about the tragic tale of the three Fail Sisters who all die in the same year. Utilizing shadows, live music and movement, the show is a collaboration between UConn Acting, Music and Puppet Arts Students. Run time: 1 hour. FREE ADMISSION.

SUBOG Movie - Hocus Pocus

Late Night

Late Night is a fun and exciting way to spend the end of your week. Each weekend has a theme, and there are always interactive activities, food, giveaways, and prizes. Late Night aims to provide a new experience at the Student Union every weekend, so join in on the fun!
