If you plan to attend UConn Family Weekend 2017, please register by clicking the ‘Register for FAMILY WEEKEND’ button at the bottom of this page. This is a FREE event for the entire family. Despite it being free, we still need families to register.
On the registration form, you will be asked to enter the name(s) of the student(s) and all other guests attending Family Weekend. Having an accurate attendance for Family Weekend is vital to the success of this major campus event.
The online registration process for Family Weekend is open until Friday, September 22nd at 5pm. After the deadline passes, you may register in-person at the ‘Check-In’ located in the Student Union during Family Weekend. However, not registering in advance limits some of the perks of the weekend and you will not be able to purchase the specialty meals.
To cancel your registration for Family Weekend or request a refund for any of the specialty meals, please contact the Student Activities – Programs Office at firstname.lastname@example.org (preferred) or 860-486-3423. After Friday, September 22nd at 5pm, refunds will not be issued.
There are some select specialty meals that are available to families at an additional cost. You will have the opportunity to select which specialty meals you plan to attend and pay for them through this site. When the specialty meals are sold out, there will not be a waiting list or on-site registration for those meals. The total cost of the specialty meals selected for your family are due at the end of registration. Accepted forms of payment are: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. We do not accept cash or check payments. If you would like to see the menus and pricing options for the three Family Weekend specialty meals, visit familyweekend.uconn.edu/meals.
If you do not plan to purchase any of the specialty meals, the registration form is very simple and will only take a couple of minutes. You will not be asked for any sort of payment if you do not purchase any of the meals.
