Future Nurses for DEI Art Exhibition
Time: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Location: Student Union Room 310
Future Nurses for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (FNDEI) is collaborating with local artists to celebrate the Women's Center and PRLACC's 50th anniversaries. This art exhibition is a fundraiser. All proceeds will be allocated to scholarships for minority nursing students.
Animal Science Barn Tours
Time: 10:00 am
Location: Front Steps of the Wilfred B. Young Building
Join two UConn Animal Science students on a walking tour of some of the department's livestock facilities! Stops will include the horse stables, Horsebarn Hill area, and more! Visitors will be given the opportunity to walk through and see inside some of the facilities and the animals being cared for. Come see all the wonderful animals cared for daily by Animal Science students and staff.
Family Weekend Breakfast

The Family Weekend Breakfast has sold out.

Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry

The Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry is one of America’s hidden treasures—a superb collection of over 3,500 puppets from all over the world; an archive of books, manuscripts, posters, drawings, audio-visual materials, and photographs all covering the history of puppetry. We encourage you to stop by and see all of our treasures.
Free tours of the Museum of Puppetry will be offered at 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm, and 4:00 pm.
Free Toy Theater spectacle by UConn Puppet Arts graduate students Abigail Baird and Jaron Hollander based on Sendak’s 1993 book We Are All in the Dumps With Jack and Guy at 1:00 pm, 3:00 pm, 5:00 pm.

Homecoming Parade

UConn's 2022 Homecoming begins today! Celebrate with us at an annual tradition - the Homecoming Parade! Teams of UConn student organizations will be showing off their talents and artistry as they march through the streets of campus. Follow the parade, which begins in front of the Student Union and travels down Hillside Road and Gilbert Road to South Campus, to see the teams perform for a panel of judges at South Campus. Following the parade, head over to the Homecoming Carnival sponsored by SUBOG!
Homecoming Carnival (Time Change! 11-3)

William Benton Museum of Art

The William Benton Museum of Art is Connecticut’s state art museum with a collection of more than 6,500 works dating from the 15th to the 21st centuries. The museum annually presents 10-12 exhibitions of art from its collection and from loaned works. Lectures, gallery talks, salon discussions, campus art walks, musical performances, and drawing sessions are among the museum’s popular programs. In addition to the exhibits in the museum, check out UConn's collection of campus art and sculptures through the Benton's self-guided walking scavenger hunt.
Dramatic Arts Sophomore BFA Performance - Failure: A Love Story

Join the Department of Dramatic Arts Sophomore BFA Acting class for a free performance of Failure: A Love Story by Philip Dawkins, directed by Sandi Carroll.
Failure: A Love Story: a comedy about the tragic tale of the three Fail Sisters who all die in the same year. Utilizing shadows, live music and movement, the show is a collaboration between UConn Acting, Music and Puppet Arts Students. Run time: 1 hour. FREE ADMISSION.
