Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry

The Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry is one of America’s hidden treasures—a superb collection of over 2,500 puppets from all over the world; an archive of books, manuscripts, posters, drawings, audio-visual materials and photographs all covering the history of puppetry. William Benton Museum of Art

The William Benton Museum of Art is Connecticut’s state art museum with a collection of more than 6,500 works dating from the 15th to the 21st centuries. The museum annually presents 10-12 exhibitions of art from its collection and from loaned works. Lectures, gallery talks, salon discussions, campus art walks, musical performances, and drawing sessions are among the museum’s popular programs. Bring your family over to do a fun scavenger hunt (for all ages) in our permanent collection gallery.

25th Anniversary of the UConn Women’s Rugby National Championship

Come back home to celebrate 25 years since winning the Women’s Rugby National Championship! Reconnect and reminisce with your teammates and enjoy a buffet dinner and cash bar. Cost is $25 per person.
